The hospitality from the staff is exceptional, making every guest feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the pool area is stunning. While the location is quite serene, it's a short ride away from the city center, which is a plus for those seeking tranquility. One minor downside is that there are few dining options within walking distance, but the hotel restaurant serves delicious food.

I had a fantastic stay at Mathis Retreat in Ubud, where the ambiance was charmingly Balinese, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly.
